We have an eye on the future, and are dedicated to creating outdoor spaces in ways that face up to the challenges of a changing climate. From our office to our working practices, we put environmental concerns at the heart of everything we do. We can provide you with a multitude of practical solutions to create an environmentally friendly garden.
By selecting and planting specific plants in your garden we will nurture garden bugs and birds, providing habitats and food for a variety of creatures. This creates a healthy eco-system which helps your garden to thrive.
Wherever possible we use West Country suppliers for hard landscaping materials, cutting down carbon miles and delivery costs, and helping to grow the local economy. We love to use stone quarried in Cornwall, collaborating with stonemasons like Tim Marsh near Falmouth. Likewise we like to use managed woodland timber supplied by Eddie Butterfield in Dorset; he cuts his wood on a nineteenth century renovated steam engine powered by wood offcuts. We also work with local metal fabricators such as Jay Gates and as many Cornish nurseries as possible.
